Race ECU standalone engine management for a custom-wired engine installation.

Original-generation RACE supports eight sequential cylinders with integrated wideband, knock sensing and eight EGT channels through the appropriate second harness. RACE H2O and GEN2 RACE are distinct products; their enclosure and connection specifications must not be substituted for this model.

Questions about Race

Does the main RACE harness provide all eight EGT inputs?

The EGT / E-throttle / additional-I/O harness is a separate connector-2 item. Confirm both harnesses and thermocouple termination when planning those functions.

Is every RACE ECU waterproof?

No blanket rating is applied here. The manufacturer identifies a separate H2O variant. Confirm the exact enclosure, seals and mounting instructions for the supplied hardware.

Does the model number define cylinder support?

Check the injection and ignition strategy, shared channels and required auxiliary functions for the actual hardware. A model number alone does not define a complete engine-control configuration.
