Questions about Boost
Is a solenoid the same as a complete boost controller?
No. A solenoid needs a compatible controller output and correct plumbing. A standalone gauge kit adds sensing, display and control electronics.
Can a pressure rating be selected from the AEM name alone?
No. Tru-Boost generations and solenoid-only products have different specifications. The part number and sensor configuration are required.
What does “kit” include?
Ask for controller, driven part, pump / reservoir / nozzle where applicable, hoses, fittings and wiring to be listed individually. The word kit does not establish a universal contents list.
