01 / GUIDE
Read the pressure convention
Specify whether a requirement is absolute pressure or boost above ambient. Keep units consistent across the sensor label, controller configuration and project request.
02 / GUIDE
Record the transfer data
Record the part number and manufacturer calibration data. A voltage-output sensor needs the correct voltage-to-pressure relationship in the ECU; the pressure range alone does not define that relationship.
03 / GUIDE
Check the physical and electrical interface
Confirm the pressure port, mounting, connector pinout and supply requirements against the sensor data sheet. Similar housings can contain different sensors.
04 / GUIDE
Prepare a calibration review
Share the sensor label, calibration sheet, ECU model and intended pressure range. Initial readings should be checked by the installer before the setup is used under load.
