01 / GUIDE

Identify the complete system

Treat the sensor, compatible wideband controller and ECU connection as separate items. Confirm whether the ECU has the required controller built in or needs an external module.

02 / GUIDE

Choose the communication path

Some setups use analog output, while others exchange values over CAN. Check the exact module, supported protocol and configuration; a CAN connector alone does not establish interoperability.

03 / GUIDE

Keep units and status visible

Record whether displays use lambda or an AFR conversion, and include sensor status when reviewing a reading. A single number without its units and operating state is incomplete.

04 / GUIDE

What the inquiry should include

Send sensor and controller part numbers, ECU generation, wiring method and existing accessories. Confirm supplied cables and any power or CAN adapters separately in the quotation.

Checklist & example

  • Vehicle: market / year / model. Engine: code and any swap.
  • Original ECU: part number. Target ECU: model and hardware revision.
  • Wiring: both connector faces and pinout. Retained functions: list individually.
