Use official software information to prepare a supported connection workflow.
A version is part of the configuration
Keep the full ECU identity, firmware and software release together in the project record. The latest download is not a substitute for checking which package supports the actual controller generation.
Prepare before a change
The new PCLink resource links the official current and legacy software pages, and lists the information useful for a connection support request. Backups and any update plan should be agreed with the person responsible for the vehicle.
