From the controller to the last connection.
02 / CONFIGURATION
Your engine & project
Provide the market, year, vehicle and engine code, original ECU, naturally aspirated or boosted configuration, major modifications and intended use. Mark unknown details Not sure.
03 / CONFIGURATION
Standalone or piggyback?
Decide which engine functions the new controller takes on and which original vehicle systems must remain. Compare the control strategies before selecting a model.
04 / CONFIGURATION
Choose the ECU
Review injection / ignition strategy, shared channels, trigger patterns, auxiliary I/O, communications and hardware generation against the matching documentation.
05 / CONFIGURATION
Confirm wiring & sensors
Identify connectors, pinouts, harness termination and sensor calibration. Separate the supplied package from installation-specific wiring and additional sensors.
06 / CONFIGURATION
Check the tuning connection
Match the ECU port, tuning cable, software, firmware, driver and computer OS. Include the relevant installation manual and pinout in the request.
07 / CONFIGURATION
Example setup & supply scope
Use a neutral checklist: controller ×1; wiring and termination confirmed for the application; sensors and tuning interface separately identified. Itemize included, required separately and optional parts. This is not a confirmed compatible kit. Ask specifically about installation or calibration support.
Review checklist
- Confirm the control function, channel type and relevant manual before assigning a device.
- Note the existing component, the proposed component and any unresolved compatibility question.
- Keep wiring, calibration and installation responsibilities visible in the proposal.
