01 / GUIDE

A controller is one part of the setup

A model name or a photo does not define a complete installation kit. One listing may describe a controller alone while another describes a different package. Ask for an itemized quote for the exact configuration you want.

02 / GUIDE

Use three clear lists

Keep the supplied package separate from additional requirements. This makes omissions and duplicate purchases easier to spot.

  • Included: each supplied physical part and quantity.
  • Required separately: wiring, sensors, connectors or interfaces needed for this installation but outside the package.
  • Optional: additions that serve a particular use rather than being necessary for every installation.

03 / GUIDE

Check what “harness” means

A connector and terminal set is not the same as a terminated harness. A universal flying-lead harness is not the same as a vehicle-specific adapter. Confirm the ends, pinout, length, branches and terminal contents.

04 / GUIDE

Include the tuning connection

Ask which cable, driver, software and computer system are required. Confirm whether software is supplied as physical media, a valid download or a separate arrangement.

Checklist & example

  • Included: controller ×1, with the exact connector / harness contents listed.
  • Required separately: installation-specific sensors, wiring termination or tuning interface if outside the package.
  • Optional: monitoring or mounting additions checked for the project. This is a neutral checklist, not a sellable kit.
