01 / GUIDE
Choose the wiring approach
Identify whether you need a universal harness, a vehicle-specific adapter, connector terminals, a bypass harness or a tuning cable. These solve different problems and should not be treated as interchangeable.
02 / GUIDE
Check the details
Use the exact controller manual and the vehicle wiring information to establish the connection.
- Target ECU and hardware revision.
- Connector housing and pin assignment at both ends.
- Cable length, branch locations and installation route.
- Included terminals, seals and connector components.
03 / GUIDE
Confirm what is already included
Check the controller package before adding a separate harness. A connector pin set may still require wiring work. A vehicle-specific adapter needs a confirmed vehicle and original ECU specification.
Checklist & example
- Item type: main harness, adapter, bypass, connector set or mount.
- Endpoints: actual controller and original-ECU / component connection.
