A bypass connection is used to restore the intercepted factory circuits when the F/IC6 module is disconnected. Its internal bridging must match the particular F/IC harness; a similarly shaped connector is not enough to establish safe bypass wiring.

Questions about FIC6 Bypass

Can bypass erase an ECU fault or repair wiring?

It only bridges the defined intercepted circuits. Existing vehicle faults and wiring damage require diagnosis separately.

Is any F/IC bypass plug suitable?

No. Verify the controller family and harness bridge map; custom adapter wiring can differ.

Is this a complete terminated harness?

Check the individual item. A loose connector / terminal set, universal flying-lead harness and vehicle adapter are different products. The quote should identify length, endpoints and termination.
