Questions about IS Main

Does an iS harness include tuning access?

A wiring loom does not grant PowerWriter access. HKS specifies dealer setup for changes to F-CON iS control data.

Can an F-CON V Pro loom be assumed compatible?

No. Confirm the exact F-CON generation, pinout and vehicle connector set before using a loom described for another controller.

Does a universal modification harness replace a vehicle adapter?

HKS lists the universal modification looms as an F-CON-side coupler and wiring. The stock-ECU end still needs the correct vehicle connections and wiring checks; 1.0 m or 2.5 m does not identify a plug-and-play vehicle kit.

Is this a complete terminated harness?

Check the individual item. A loose connector / terminal set, universal flying-lead harness and vehicle adapter are different products. The quote should identify length, endpoints and termination.
