01 / GUIDE
Start with the functions
Write down injection, ignition, idle control, fans, pumps and the functions the original ECU will retain. Group essential requirements separately from possible future additions.
02 / GUIDE
Build a channel worksheet
For each device, record its signal type, required input or output, power source and connection reference. A spare pin is not necessarily a channel that supports the device you intend to connect.
03 / GUIDE
Check shared and dedicated functions
Review the exact hardware manual for channel sharing, driver type and supported triggers. Retained dashboard, transmission and immobilizer requirements belong in the same review.

What to send for selection
Send the engine code, current ECU, device list and any unknown signals. Our proposed parts list should identify the questions still open before a configuration is confirmed.
Checklist & example
- Vehicle: market / year / model. Engine: code and any swap.
- Original ECU: part number. Target ECU: model and hardware revision.
- Wiring: both connector faces and pinout. Retained functions: list individually.
